Man tries to attack Cong MLA in Dhrol, complaint lodged

Jamnagar Rural MLA Raghvji Patel from Congress has lodged a complaint against Manharsinh Jadeja, a resident of Lakhani village in Dhrol taluka of Jamnagar for threatening him. The complaint was lodged with Panchkoshi police station in Jamnagar.

RAJKOT: Jamnagar Rural MLA Raghvji Patel from Congress has lodged a complaint against Manharsinh Jadeja, a resident of Lakhani village in Dhrol taluka of Jamnagar for threatening him. The complaint was lodged with Panchkoshi police station in Jamnagar.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening when Patel was going in his car towards Dhrol town. “I received a call from Jadeja who was complaining about some road issue.
I asked him to meet me in Falla village as I was on that route,” said Patel in his complaint.
“When I reached there, Jadeja along with his two assailants were standing with baseball bat and tried to attack me. But the driver managed to escape the assault,” Patel added.
Sources said that Jadeja had contested local panchayat polls and lost. Therefore, he had some issues with the Congress MLA. However, Patel escaped unhurt and then lodged a complaint.
