Two killed in bike accident
Two persons, including a woman, were killed when the bike on which they were travelling rammed into a truck going towards Rajasthan near Chitrasni some 17 km from Palanpur in Banaskantha on Thursday.
PALANPUR: Two persons, including a woman, were killed when the bike on which they were travelling rammed into a truck going towards Rajasthan near Chitrasni some 17 km from Palanpur in Banaskantha on Thursday.
The deceased who have been identified as Hitesh Paramar (22) and Mitalben Paramar (24) were natives of Navanagar in Vadgam Taluka of Banaskatha. They were on their way to nearby Gadhada village where they were working.
According to police, the deceased were from same family.
The incidence took place at about 10 am, when the bike rammed into the truck from the back. Hitesh Parmar died on the spot while his sister-in-law breathed her last in the civil hospital at Palanpur. The driver who escaped has been arrested said police.
