Bearing the brunt of scrapping of the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations by the government, Allari Naresh-starrer Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam has been postponed indefinitely.
The production house Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra (SVCC) gave the official confirmation on Twitter. “Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam is not releasing on November 12,” it tweeted.
More from the world of Entertainment:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a ban on the currency notes with denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 on Tuesday night. Soon after the decision, Tollywood was left in chaos as it came to terms with the effect on this week’s two new releases — Intlo Deyyam Nakem Bhayam and Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo.
However, Naga Chaitanya’s Saahasam… is releasing of Friday without any change in the dates.
Under G Nageshwar Reddy’s direction, Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam is third film in combination with Naresh.
“Movies like Seemsastri and Seemtapakai have been big hits with Allari Naresh in the lead and I hope this movie will be a hat-trick with our combination. This family drama is a fusion of entertainment and horror,” film director had said.
The movie is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banners. Coming after Attarintiki Dardi and Nannaku Prematho under the banner, the movie is said to be a full-fledged entertainer. The movie also stars many comedians including, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Posani Murali and Chalapathi Rao.
Intlo Dayyam Nakem Bhayyam will be an acid test for the ‘comedy king’ Naresh as this is for the first time the actor is working in this genre.
