A mariachi band is currently trolling Trump tower in the best possible way


As the Election Day results pour in on November 8, anxious supporters of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are waiting by their TVs and Twitter feeds with bated breath, hoping their candidate will amass enough votes to win the presidency.

But one group that couldn't be bothered with the spectacle that is Election Night news coverage was a mariachi band stationed outside of Trump Tower in New York, presumably serenading the Republican candidate in protest of his past transgressions against the Latino community.

In the copy accompanying a live stream of the impromptu concert, New York Magazinereported that the band was joined by crowds of other protestors who assembled outside the famed Fifth Avenue building.

In the speech announcing his candidacy, Trump made infamously derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants:

"When Mexico sends it people, they're not sending their best," he said in June. "They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."
