Rewari, November 7

Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Planning Rao Inderjit Singh said the demand of formation of Ahirwal Regiment would be raised at the ‘shaheed samman’ rally to be organised here on November 16.

Addressing a party workers’ meeting at the BJP office on Garhi Bolni road here today, he said the BJP government in the state had completed two years but the Ahirwal region was yet to get importance in terms of development.

Eighteen months ago, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had announced that an AIIMS-like institute would be set up in Manethi village. However, nothing had been done in that direction so far, he added.

Earlier, addressing a gathering in Rampura village, the Union Minister said overall development of south Haryana was his top priority and he would leave no stone unturned to redress grievances of people of the region.
