Fluor Corp. (FLR) Plunged To An 8-Month Low After Weak Q3 Report

Fluor Corp. (FLR) reported third quarter EPS of $0.03 after the close Thursday, down from $1.21 in the previous year. Street expectations were for EPS of $0.87. The company now expects to report full year EPS of $2.20 to $2.40, compared to prior expectations of $3.25 to $3.50. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $3.24.

Fluor gapped down sharply Friday, but traded in a range throughout the session. The stock closed with a loss of 6.99 at $44.80 on the highest volume of the year. Fluor sank to an 8-month low.
