Tractor falls in canal near Godhra, 1 diesin Godhra

Vadodara: One person died and another was injured after a tractor carrying sand fell in a open sewage canal near Meshri river in Godhra on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Bharat Nayak, a labourer from Malukutu village in Rajgadh taluka of Godhra.
He was sitting in the tractor with driver Mohammed Hussain, who sustained several injuries and was taken to Godhra Civil Hospital.
Sources said that the tractor carrying sand was going to Vorwada from Patelwada in Godhra.
While crossing the bridge over the sewage canal near Meshri river, Hussain lost control of the vehicle fell in the two feet deep canal. A crane had to be called in by the authorities to fish out the tractor.
