Mid-flight emergency declared on EasyJet flight to Glasgow
AN EASYJET pilot has declared a mid-air emergency on a flight from Majorca to Glasgow.

Reports of a passenger becoming ill were made at 12.45pm today.
The flight - EZY51KQ - departed from Palma at 11.18am and was scheduled to land at 1.15pm.
The Airbus 319-111 has just passed Carlisle.
A spokesman for the airline said: “EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY6896 from Palma to Glasgow today, 6 November, requested a priority landing in to Glasgow due to a passenger requiring medical assistance.
“The aircraft will be met by paramedics upon arrival in Glasgow.
“The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority.”
The mid-air drama follows an EasyJet flight from London Luton to Iceland this morning which was diverted to Inverness after another passenger became ill.
The aircraft has now landed.
