Age criterion at La Martiniere Girls' college not clear

LUCKNOW: Businessman Anshul Mishra was flummoxed when he came across the nursery admission notice of La Martiniere Girls' College. For he couldn't see the age criteria on the notice even after scrolling up and down the page multiple times. "How can I apply without knowing whether my daughter is eligible for admission?" said Mishra.
This year, parents seeking admission for their daughters at LMGC will have to apply online by making a payment of Rs 3,000 between November 1 and November 15 without late fees and then on, till November 26 with late fees.Completed application forms will be received at the college on December 3 from 10 am to 11 am. On January 18, parents will be notified about their child's eligibility.
Though college authorities claimed they never disclose the age limit, TOI has, in previous years, shared the age limit mentioned by the college in the notice put at the college gate. School vice-principal Aashrita Dass said, "We never divulge the age as fake certificates can easily be made."
