Man attacked over Diwali day fight

VADODARA: A resident of Mahalaxmi Park on Warasia Ring Road was attacked by eight persons over a past rift in Fatehpura on Thursday.
Krunal Joshi was attacked by Liaqat Saiyed, Basit Ali and six other unidentified persons by wooden sticks and iron pipes. According to police, Joshi had heated arguments with Liaqat and Basit on Diwali day after the duo asked Joshi to not burst crackers near their house.The issue was settled then after people present there intervened.
Cops said that when Joshi was in Fatehpura on Thursday the duo attacked him along with their six accomplices after a pre-decided plan.
Joshi received severe injuries on head and was rushed to SSG Hospital for treatment.
A complaint of attempt to murder was registered with City police station by Joshi's wife Binal. The police is yet to make any arrests in the case.
