XAT 2017: Check the important dates of XAT 2017

XAT 2017 test is scheduled on January 8, 2016 from 10 AM to 1.30 PM. Candidates can go through the important dates for the exam here.

XAT 2017 Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) exam is MBA entrance exam which is  conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admissions to post graduate management programmes. The XAT scores are accepted at more than 150 B-schools in India. The paper pencil based XAT 2017 test will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017. The application process had commenced on August 17, 2016 and will end on Wednesday, November 30, 2016.

Aspirants are required to note that the last date for late application is December 11, 2016 with a higher application fee. The application fee has increased from last year. The last date for application of XAT 2017 is November 30, 2016.  The last date for late application is December 11, 2016. Candidates are required to download the admit card on December 20, 2016. XAT 2017 will be held on January 8, 2017.

The application procedure for XAT 2017 is completely online. The aspirants have to visit the official website of XAT 2017 and register. Candidates will receive login credentials. The application fee for XAT is Rs. 1600, which has increased by Rs. 100 from that of last year. The fee for each XLRI programme is Rs. 300. Last year it was Rs. 250. It is important for the aspirants to know that  XAT  2017 test is scheduled from 10 AM to 1.30 PM. The exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 consists of 78 questions from Quantitative Ability, English Language and Logical Reasoning and Decision Making. The duration of this paper is 170 minutes or 2 hours 50 minutes. The Paper 2 of XAT 2017  will include the objective as well as subjective questions from General Knowledge (GK) and Essay Writing questions.

XAT 2017 would be conducted across India in the following cities which include Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.  XAT 2017 would be conducted across the following two international cities which include Dubai, Kathmandu. While registering the applicants must note that that registration for XAT 2017 and appearing for XAT 2017 is the preliminary step towards applying to XLRI and XAT Associate Institutes. Applicants for XAT 2017 can choose to pay online using credit card/ debit card/ online banking. Candidates can also make payment through a demand draft made from any bank (in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur A/C XAT). Third alternative for making payment can be “cash”. This can be done from any of the IDBI Bank branches located in India to make payment for XAT 2017.
