History-sheeters externed from Pune city and district

PUNE: Dattawadi police have externed a history sheeter Anand alias Barkya Ganpat Jori (28) of Parvati Darshan from Pune city and district for the period of two years. Deputy commissioner of police (Zone II) Pankaj Dahane issued the externment orders earlier this week. According to Dahane, Jori and his accomplices have been involved in crimes like murder, robberies, house break in thefts and attempt of dacoity.
He has been booked previously by Dehu road police station of Pune rural police, Sangvi, Airport and Dattawadi police stations.He has about 10 cases against his name, Dahane said. Apart from this, he also created his terror in the Parvati Darshan area by threatening local residents and troubling them. Dahane also externed another history-sheeter, Ganesh Nagesh Kalgutkar (22) of Mangalwar Peth from Pune city and district limits for two years. Dahane said that Kalgutkar always carry a sharp edged weapon with him and threatens everyone in his locality. He has been booked in several cases of attempt to murder, arms act, and attempt of dacoity. Cases against him have been registered with the Bibvewadi and Samarth police stations.
