Consul General of Turkey attributes success of democracy in Turkey to Mustafa Kamal Ataturk

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali and other dignitaries attended the function hosted by Arda Ulutas, the Consul General of Turkey in Hyderabad, on the occasion of Turkey’s 93rd National Day celebrations. Speaking on the occasion Arda Ulutas said Turkey is a great democracy whose founder Mustafa Pasha Kamal Ataturk had said that he would turn into soil but Turkish democracy will prevail. The firm determination of Kamal Pasha Ataturk made the Turkey a democracy where each citizen has rights.

Welcoming the guests Arda Ulutas said that India and Turkey have old cultural and diplomatic ties, efforts are on to further strengthen them. He claimed that by 2023 Turkey will be among top 10 stable economies of the world. He maintained that Turkish youth are the asset of the country and their efficiency keeps on increasing.

Besides leader of opposition in Telangana Legislative Council, Mohammed Ali Shabbir, officials belonging to various embassies including British Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Mack Alistair, Gabriel Hons-Olivier (United States Consulate General in Hyderabad), Agha Hasan Noorian, Consul General Iran for Hyderabad, were present on the occasion.
