ISLAMABAD- Aqeel Khan, M Abid, Heera Ashiq, Mudassar Murtaza and Ahmed Ch entered the OGDCL Syed Tajammul Abbas Memorial ATT Tennis Championship 2016 quarterfinals here at Senator Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex on Friday.

Ahmed Ch won his match against upcoming Aman Attique Khan. Usman won the first set 6-4 by breaking 9th game but Mudassar fought back and won the second set 6-2 by breaking second and fourth game. In the final set, the score went up to 6-6 all as both the players held their respective serves and set was decided on tie break which Mudassar won 7-5. In the second match, Abdal Hyder won his match against Zaid Mujahid of Lahore 6-0, 3-6, 7-5. Davis Cupper M Abid struggled hard to win his match against Arham Khan 6-2, 6-7(6), 6-1. Aqeel routed M Ali 6-2, 6-2 while Shahzad Khan, Heera Ashique and Muzammil Murtaza also won their matches in straight sets.
