A new Destiny's Child Instagram account has fans hoping for a reunion tour.

The verified account surfaced on Saturday and has since posted photos celebrating milestones in the group's career.

The trio went their separate ways in 2006 but next year marks the band's 20th anniversary.

Needless to say fans are wasting no time speculating about what the account could mean for the band's future.

The account has drummed up over 12,000 followers and they all seem to be after one thing, a reunion tour.

Band members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards together on Monday.

And of course they were asked if a reunion was on the cards. But Kelly Rowland was quick to dismiss any rumours of a tour.

"We haven't talked anything about that," she told E! News.

The 35-year-old spoke about how fans get excited when they see the ex-band mates together.

"They [fans] often look at us sideways, like, 'are we really seeing this?'"

She also mentioned that the three ladies had dinner together the night before.

"We've just been enjoying each other's company and love and enjoying being women."

Since the band split in 2006, lead singer Beyonce has gone on to become one of the biggest stars on the planet.

Her fans, known as the "Beyhive" are some of the most devoted fans on the planet and her most recent tour made $256m (£210m) in ticket sales.

So it's not like she exactly needs to get back with the other two.

But let's not spoil the excitement. And we probably won't really know what's going on until the band's 20th anniversary next year.
