Australia keen on boosting ties with Goa

PANAJI: Australia's high commissioner to India, Harinder Sidhu met minister for tourism, government of Goa, Dilip Parulekar and held dialogues on boosting tourism ties between Australia and Goa.
The meeting was held earlier this week where Sidhu shred her pleasant experiences while visiting Goa and discussed issues on how footfalls from Down Under to Goa could be enhanced.

The consul general of Australia Tony Huber and managing director of Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Nikhil Desai were also present for this meeting.
Parulekar and Ms. Sidhu discussed various aspects of enhancing tourism ties between Australia and Goa.
Sidhu also complimented Goa Tourism for working on a tourism master plan and policy which would help Goa become an attractive tourism destination.
