Roche plans to pump $26m in new Malaysia center

KUALA LUMPUR -- Swiss biotech company Roche Holding is planning to invest 110 million ringgit ($26.30 million) in a recently opened service center in Malaysia over the next two years.

The pharmaceutical group will expand services in finance, procurement and IT for its regional offices through the shared service center. The company has a presence in 15 countries including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Philippines and Vietnam. It has another five shared service centers in Europe and the Americas.
