McGarrell Reilly lands Domino's for CityNorth

Located at the exit 7 interchange on the M1 motorway, the campus, which is positioned around the four-star City North Hotel, is set to see the commencement of a new round of construction with the development of both a 40,000 sq ft facility for a major British food manufacturer and a new petrol filling station and associated retail facility to be operated by Topaz.

While Deirdre Reilly of the McGarrell Reilly Group didn't disclose the identity of the future occupier of the 40,000 sq ft facility at City North's official relaunch last Tuesday, an examination by the Irish Independent of Meath County Council's planning files shows that the Domino's Pizza Group is the food manufacturer in question.

The Domino's Pizza Group's new facility is positioned on a high-profile site of 1.33 ha (3.28 acres) within the CityNorth Business Campus. The detached building was designed by RKD Architecture to the occupier's specific requirements. The contract value of €6.5m marks a significant coup for CityNorth and for Jeremy Kelly of Kelly Walsh, who brokered the deal.

Located within a 20-minute drive of Dublin airport and 90 minutes from Belfast, the campus has full planning permission for a number of facilities ranging in size from 900 sq m to 4,000 sq m with delivery times available within a short timeframe. McGarrell Reilly say alterations to the design and specification of these facilities can be considered to cater for businesses' individual requirements.

As part of CityNorth's relaunch, an interactive website has been commissioned to show prospective occupiers the full extent and potential of the campus. The interactive map allows the user to select a potential unit and access the overview of the building, its specification, computer-generated images and floor plans.
