Two Vietnam nationals returned to Canada on RCMP warrant

Peace Arch Port of Entry, Blaine, Washingtom.BLAINE, Wash. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations at the Pacific Highway Point of Entry returned two Vietnam nationals, who are Canadian citizens, to Canada when a Canadian Police Information Centre report found the men were wanted for possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Canada Border Services Agency confirmed the warrant for Surrey, British Columbia, men was active with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

“This is another example of how our two countries work seamlessly together,” said Assistant Area Port Director Terry Schulze. “The integrated partnership we have with Canada is outstanding.”

The men were returned to Canada by CBP officers and arrested by RCMP.
