The Bears may not have quarterback Jay Cutler’s back, but wife Kristin Cavallari certainly does.

The former starlet of “The Hills” fame shared a supportive message to her spouse Tuesday on Instagram.

“He’s baaaaack! Maybe a couple weeks before he’s supposed to be but good luck this week, babe. Kick some Vikings-ass,” she wrote.

Cavallari’s vote of confidence may boost Cutler’s self-esteem as the embattled quarterback suits up Monday for the first time since Week 2, when he was sidelined with a right thumb injury. Bears head coach John Fox made no promises about Cutler’s job security upon his return, but Cutler knows he’s the only option after backup Brian Hoyer went out with a broken arm.

“He doesn’t have a choice, I guess, at this point,” Cutler said Tuesday, according to the Chicago Tribune. “Brian is out, so I’ve got to go. I’ve had good conversations with Foxy this week, last week, the week before. There’s never been any strain in our relationship. We’re both very open and honest, and we’re on the same page. We just want to win football games.”

The Bears (1-6) are currently in last place in the NFC North, and Cutler’s future in Chicago remains a question mark. The Bears can shed his contract this offseason — technically, there’s $62.7 million remaining through 2020 — with little of the money counting against their salary cap.

“Anytime you have a backup quarterback — and to Brian’s credit, he played well,” Cutler said. “I think as a team, we wish we would have won some more of those ballgames. But Brian went in there and did a great job. My discussions with everybody that I have relationships with in here were positives, and whenever I was ready to go, I’d be ready to go.”
