Bella Hadid Threw Some Sheer Material Over Her Underwear and Called it a Dress

Actually, to be specific, she called it an “outfit,” on Snapchat. But to Bella Hadid, the definition of a party outfit is up for interpretation. For many of us, it would have to be an item that covered our body and be more than underwear and a sexy nighty. But for Hadid, that combo was perfectly acceptable.

As proof, Hadid attended the Dior Beauty celebration of The Art of Color with Peter Philips Tuesday night, and she basically wore her skivvies because, by traditional standards, her dress was too sheer and flimsy to count as anything more than see-through material.

Wearing nude high-waisted granny panties — or tight boy shorts, depends who you ask — and a matching corset-like bra, Hadid layered nude tulle covered in black polka dots on top of her undergarments.

The model also wore her love of Dior emblazoned on the elastic of her undies and her bra straps. The entire said “outfit” is from the French fashion house’s recently debuted spring 2017 runway collection.

Hadid brought out the black polka dots with a matching choker and pair of pumps, making her neck and feet the most covered parts of her body.

But on a chilly fall evening in NYC, such a thin layer doesn’t quite cut it, which is likely why she changed mid-event. Her second look was an almost identical version of the first, but in black (non-sheer!) leather.

Listen, if we had just scored a spot in the next Victoria’s Secret runway show, we’d probably be walking around in our panties, too.
