Kore partners with Elo to bring IoT cellular connectivity to touchscreens

Kore, an Internet-of-Things company, has partnered with Elo to connect Elo's I-Series touchscreens directly with Kore's IoT network for cellular connectivity. Elo customers will be able to access Kore's cellular network and integrate advertisements into the I-Series, according to a press release.

Customers in Europe can select Vodafone and customers in the U.S. can use AT&T for their touchscreen's cellular service. Customers can activate the I-Series devices by contacting Kore and inserting a SIM card number included with the touchscreen.

Merchandising teams, creative agencies and others can now use the I-Series to deliver interactive advertisements, according to the release.

"Our customers look to us to deliver the best interactive experiences," Neeraj Pendse, director of product management, Elo, said in the release. "Our devices are now ready for instant activation with the help of KORE's seamless network; bringing these experiences to the end-user faster and more effectively."
