She also added it well known that BJP has maintained its relation with SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav since its (BJP’s) Jansangh days.

NEW DELHI: Continuing her attack against the BJP and PM Narendra Modi, BSP’s national president Mayawati on Wednesday said none can even imagine that there is a SP-BSP understanding in UP.
Referring to the PM Modi’s speech at the October 24 rally in Mohoba in UP’s Bundekhand region, she added PM Modi’s statement about “SP-BSP understanding” is false and misleading.

She has recalled the June 2, 1995 Lucknow guest house incident in which she was allegedly attacked by SP workers. BSP chief Mayawati further said her party has no political relation with SP in the last 21 years. She added BSP has been opposing SP on all fronts. She claimed the BSP has always protested alleged criminalization of politics by SP.

She also added it well known that BJP has maintained its relation with SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav since its (BJP’s) Jansangh days.

BSP chief Mayawati also blamed the BJP government ruling at the centre for going soft on SP government in the state. Referring to the incidents of communal riots in UP in 2013, she said such incidents only exposed the understanding between SP and BJP.
