LAHORE: At least 15 members of a family were injured when a two-storey house in Lahore collapsed as an explosive went off in the building on Wednesday, police said.

Police said that one person was killed while the injured were taken to Mayo Hospital.

Security officials said that they recovered eight hand grenades from the house during rescue operation.

Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Dr Haider Ashraf said that nobody had been taken into custody.
