ATHENS (Sputnik) – The majority of political parties voted for the ratification of the memorandum, with only two parties – Communists and the far-right Golden Dawn party – voting against it.
"Participation in this Memorandum of Understanding and the possible deployment of JEWCS in our country will have positive results for [Greece’s] armed forces," the parliamentary paper said.
Greece offered to host JEWCS equipment near the 113th combat wing in Thessaloniki, according to the documents.
JEWCS is NATO’s capability center for Electronic Warfare (EW), providing the alliance and its individual member states with EW expertise and training.
