    Parenting done right! Twinkle Khanna creates spreadsheets for kids' menus

    The columnist and interior designer has quite a few parenting tricks up her sleeve.

    Columnist and interior designer Twinkle Khanna recently shared a picture of her son Aarav on Twitter with the caption, “Sometimes all that the kids need = some soap, water and leftover plastic wrapping for a whole load of fun.” The picture was accompanied by a four-second video of him playing a water game in their garden.



    The indulgent mother side was in evidence at the launch of a healthy snack range at Godrej One in Mumbai last month too, when Khanna, Tanya Dubash, Executive Director of the Godrej Group and Avani Davda, MD of Godrej Nature’s Basket, spoke about the challenges women face juggling work and family.

    Khanna said she made spreadsheets for her children to manage their menus, so she wouldn’t feel guilty about not being there for them. Dubash confessed, “I don’t really cook. My husband (Arvind) and one of my sons are both very good cooks.” Davda and Khanna also pointed that their respective sons, Param and Aarav, too love to cook. Power women, with budding chefs in the kitchen.
