Vice-President Hamid Ansari's visit to Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site, on October 27 has been cancelled, a government spokesman said.

GUWAHATI: Vice-President Hamid Ansari's visit to Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site, on October 27 has been cancelled, a government spokesman said. The divisional forest officer of Eastern Assam Wildlife Division, Bokakhat, has informed that elephant and jeep safari in the central and western ranges, which were cancelled due to Ansari's visit earlier, are now open to tourists.
