The UFC has changed up their matchmaking duties ahead of Joe Silva’s impending departure from the company. MMA Fighting reports that with Silva retiring in a couple of months, the UFC has restructured matchmaking duties between Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard.

According to the site, Shelby is now the Senior Vice President of Talent Relations and will handle the women’s strawweight and bantamweight divisions as well as men’s bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight and welterweight divisions. Maynard, the recently-hired VP of Talent Relations who previously owned Legacy FC, will handle the men’s flyweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.

Sources say that most managers and fighters have already been notified of the changes.
