ALLAHABAD:
BJP took a dig on Tuesday at UP SP chief Shivpal Yadav's allegation that his cousin Ramgopal Yadav, SP's sacked general secretary, was "colluding" with BJP. "None of the (Yadav) family members is worth (inducting into) BJP. No one from the Yadav family will be inducted into BJP, but the restriction doesn't apply to SP members who are not from the Yadav family," BJP national spokesperson Sidharth Nath Singh said.
Singh added that the ongoing Yadav family feud was a "drama" scripted by SP's
Rajya Sabha member
Amar Singh and party chief Mulayam to "hide the poor governance of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav".
Meanwhile, BJP's '
Parivartan Yatra ', starting early next month, will focus on the feud to highlight "corruption and breakdown of law and order" in UP. "We will tell the public that MSY himself has accepted that there are goons in his party," a senior BJP member said.
