NAGPUR: After getting two crore plantation on July 1 in the Limca Book of Records now a wax model of the minister will be housed in museum in Lonavla for the same.
According to the forest department, Sunil’s Celebrity Wax Museum Private Limited, Lonavla, has approached Mungantiwar to make his wax model for his efforts to plant 2.81 crore trees in one day.
The wax museum has praised Mungantiwar as an efficient minister and sought permission from the minister to make his wax model to be permanently exhibited at the museum.

The Sunil’s Celebrity Wax Museum is known as an educational museum because of its collection of models of freedom fighters and leaders. Within short span of time the museum has become a tourist destination in Lonavla.
Sunil Kandalloor, managing director of the museum, has sought time from Mungantiwar to take his photographs and body measurements.
“We were lucky that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted permission to make his wax model. Modi’s model was unveiled in Mumbai by himself,” says Kandalloor, who is also a sculptor.
Earlier, the museum also has a wax model of former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
