The vision document will deal with the need for increasing minority participation in politics, more jobs for these communities and improving their safety and security.

Bareilly: In BJP’s Parivartan Yatra to be started from Saharanpur, Lalitpur, Ballia and Sonbhadra districts in November, the party will highlight rampant corruption and complete breakdown of law and order in Uttar Pradesh by giving instances of the ongoing feud in the ruling family. According to a senior party leader, the party leaders plan to quote SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav who told CM Akhilesh Yadav’s supporters in Lucknow on Monday, “Yeh goondagardi theek nahi hai,” to prove their point.

“We will tell public that MSY himself accepted in his statement that there are goons in his party. How can people expect law and order situation to improve when an MLC was assaulted at chief minister’s residence on Monday?” BJP state general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak told TOI.
“Shivpal Yadav had earlier claimed that Ramgopal Yadav is involved with corrupt people and the latter made a similar allegation against the former. This goes on to show that crores were made through shady deals under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav. People understand this all,” Pathak said.
Apart from the law and order situation in UP, BJP also plans to highlight achievements of Narednra Modi government at the Centre and alleged failures of Samajwadi Party during its yatra. “During our rallies, we will tell people how successive SP and BSP governments have failed UP on law and order, corruption and development in the past 15 years,” said Ravindra Rathore, Bareilly district president of BJP.
The Parivartan Yatra, to be started from four corners of the state, will be flagged off by party president Amit Shah at Saharanpur on November 5, Lalitpur on November 6, Sonbhadra on November 8 and Ballia on November 9. After travelling through all the 403 assembly constituencies, the four yatras will culminate in Lucknow on December 24, with rally to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same day.
