Juventus have confirmed that agent Mino Raiola will eventually make €27m from Paul Pogba’s record-breaking transfer to Manchester United.

The Serie A giants held its annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday in Turin during which Raiola’s multi-million agent fee was revealed.

Club president Andrea Agnelli, Giuseppe Marotta, director general, and Paval Nedved, the club’s vice-president, were all in attendance.

Pogba moved to Old Trafford for £94m but the exact figure for Raiola’s fee had remained unknown until now.

“He [Paul Pogba] came from United for a price of around €1.5m,” Marotta explained to shareholders.

“After four years with us he decided to return to England, he wanted to leave at all costs. Our asking price was €105m plus €5m in bonuses, which is payable if the player renews with United or leaves for a fee of more than €50m.

“That brings us to a capital gain in the budget of €95m. Mino Raiola and his company will be paid €27m. Taking fees into account, the total gain for Pogba was €72m.”

Despite a relatively successful transfer window for the club – Juventus brought in Gonzalo Higuain after Pogba’s sale – Agnelli confessed that Italian football still needs work as a whole.

"The Italian football needs work, but looking at the positive aspects, the fans are there and we continue to have a league among the best,” he said.

“It takes two, three corrective elements and we can once again become the world's number one football [club]”

Nedved added: “The team has great room for improvement, even if we have collected a good haul of points, we are on track.”

Juventus currently sit top of Serie A with 21 points having won seven out of their opening nine league games.
