A day after releasing manifesto for traders and industry in Ludhiana for the Upcoming Punjab polls, Delhi chief minister and Aam Admi Party (AAP) supremo has trained guns on both Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), the ruling party in the state along with the BJP.
He accused both the Congress and the SAD of joining hands with main intention of stopping AAP from coming to power in Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal further said that even though it is a big challenge as both parties have secret understanding between themselves, people are with AAP and it is ready fight the big battle.
To strengthen his claim, the Delhi chief minister said that it has never happened in the country that a ruling party was dropping case against the main face of the principle Opposition party. To make is points more clear Arvind Kejriwal accused the SAD-BJP Government of dropping cases against Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh. He added that it was because of this reason that Amrinder is not only Congress’ chief minister candidate but also that of the AAP.
During his interview with ‘The times of India’, he also accused Amrinder Singh of saving Bikram Singh Majithia from the CBI, when allegations against the later in a drug racket had cropped up. Arvind Kejriwal went on to suggest that Amrinder Singh and saved Majithia by using his good office when UPA was in power by scuttling the CBI case against the later.
When asked whether any effort is being done by the party to bring back its two MPs, Dharamvira Gandhi and H S Khalsa, who are upset, the AAP chief said that efforts are being done in this regard and in some point of time party will try to bring them back.
