Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are Bollywood’s classic friends turned foes! Though the two danced their way into our hearts with that brilliant Pinga song in Bajirao Mastani, the two were later at loggerheads! So, buzz was that Deepika was miffed that Priyanka was PAID more than her and so, did not care to continue with their friendship. Yeah, Bollywood relationships are truly fickle. Later, Priyanka was flooded with wishes on her 34th birthday but Deepika chose not to wish her. This added fuel to the fire. Well, though the two ladies can’t sort things out between each other we are proud of equally as they are all set to make their big ticket Hollywood debut and we bet they will charm the American masses just as much.

Today, there is another piece of news floated around by a leading tabloid which states that Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are the lead contenders for Siddharth Anand’s next venture which is an Indo China production. As reported by Mumbai Mirror, the film is titled  Love In Beijing, and it is a heart warming love story of a Chinese man and an Indian girl. Hmm, sounds interesting na? Salman Khan is already working on an Indo China film called Tubelight with Kabir Khan and this one is another attempt to foster relations between the two not so friendly neighbouring countries. Anand told the tabloid, “Yes, it’s a cross-cultural romance set in Beijing. I’m excited to explore and showcase another culture through this film. Our Chinese producers have suggested Deng Chao’s name but we will take a final call when I visit China next month.” Producer Ajith Thakur of Eros confirmed that they needed an A lister with an international presence for the role of a female lead. He said, “China is a big market and opening up to newer markets is an important part of the growth agenda.The film will have an A-list actress who already has an international presence.” Now, there can be only two names who fit the bill perfectly well. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
