MYSURU: It's all about science at Kendriya Vidayala (KV) campus in Mysuru.
Students from 43 KVs are presenting their projects before scientists from premier institutes at the two-day 24th regional-level Children's Science
Congress that began here on Monday.

P Devakumar, who was the chief guest, appreciated the students for their active participation at the Congress.
"It's important for students to adopt scientific temperament and gain knowledge," he added.
The deputy commissioner also announced cash awards for best works. Accordingly, KVS will offer Rs 5,000 for each of the best 20 projects/ presentations from next year.
Scientists from Regional Institute of Education, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Defence Food Research Laboratory, CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute and Regional Museum of Natural History are the judges.
As many as 277 students from KVs attached to the Bengaluru region, which covers Karnataka, Goa and Kerala, are presenting projects on themes like natural resources, food and agriculture, energy, health and hygiene, lifestyle and disaster management. They have to summarize their project information and present it before scientists.
At the inaugural function, Mysuru KV students performed a dance themed on 'Panchatatva' (water, air, earth, fire and space). They also conveyed messages on nature - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - with yoga and mudras.
