3 women steal clothes worth 30,000

AHMEDABAD: Priya Khatvani, who owns a readymade cloth store at Bhavna Flat in Sardarnagar, has lodged a complaint that thee women who had come to her store for Diwali shopping have stolen a parcel containing clothes worth Rs 30,000. According to the complaint, on Sunday evening three women stepped into her store and asked her to show them clothes. "As Khatvani was busy showing them clothes, one of the women pushed a parcel with her leg towards the door of the store and while going out took away the parcel," said a police official."Khatvani came to know about the theft at about 8.30 pm and lodged a complaint. Police source said they are probing the incident with the help of CCTV footage.
