In the big city of Mumbai, where long distances and work hours take up most of the time, it is natural that you end up bonding with your work buddies and in the process, become best friends. So, even as stories of competition, rivalry and differences are the order of the day in glambiz, there are many TV actors who bond and believe in keeping friends forever.Here’s taking a look at some of tellytown celebs who bonded with their work buddies and became ‘best friends forever’:
Rubina Dilaik and Surveen Chawla
Rubina and Surveen connected through common friends Sharad Kelkar and his wife Keerti. They have been best friends for the last seven years and Rubina says Surveen is her support system. She says, “Surveen is clear-headed, ambitious and my emotional anchor. She has been a pillar of strength through my highs and lows.”
Karan Wahi and Sehban Azim

Sehban, who became friends with Karan on the sets of 'Dil Mill Gaye', finds him to be one of those rare friends who you want to keep forever. He says, “After seven years, I have realised that Karan has a pure heart and looks out for his close friends.”
Nakuul Mehta and Drashti Dhami

Nakuul and Drashti met at a dance class back in college and later, Drashti became the reason why Nakuul decided to embark on a career in TV. He says, “I recall one morning, she called me to introduce herself. Then we were supposed to travel to another city for a TV commercial and we discussed its credibility. And soon, I became her guide in the world of ads and she was my primary reason for doing TV. And after all these years, we still consult each other for our professional decisions. She was the best wo-’man’ at my wedding and I hosted her wedding.”
Siddharth Arora and Neha Marda

Neha and Siddharth bond over their connect with the city of Varanasi and that’s how they became friends. The two met first on the sets of 'Doli Armaanon Ki'. Siddharth says, “I had heard earlier that a TV actress has married a guy from Varanasi and she was in 'Balika Vadhu'. Then I met Neha and was happy to share many tales about my hometown with her. Slowly, I grew to value her friendship, because professionally, she has advised me a lot. I feel she is my best friend in Mumbai and bond with her whenever she is here.”
Saumya Tandon and Sharad Jagtiani

Saumya and Sharad became friends on the sets. She says, “Sharad is my best buddy and different from a typical industry guy. He lives life with only one agenda — to enjoy the moment. His ambition is to be happy, he calms me down. When I get restless about not achieving my goals, he teaches how to live the moment.”
Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Tanvi Thakkar

Vahbbiz and Tanvi bonded on the sets of 'Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani'. Vahbbiz says, “One day, we were sharing the vanity van and I realised that I had finally met someone who talks more than me. We are both emotional and thoughtful. And now we are working together in another show — 'Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant'. That makes our friendship even more special.”
Shashank Vyas and Adaa Khan

Shashank, who is a quiet guy, admits that he does not have many friends. He says, “I met Adaa at Pratyusha (Banerjee)’s birthday party four years back. We both love good food and travel. We love to talk about life, too. I love the fact that Adaa is sharp and lives life to the fullest.
Karan Patel, Aly Goni and Sangram Singh

They may get into fist fights and are up against one another in their show 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein', but the three — Karan, Aly and Sangram — bond fabulously off screen. Popularly known as the ‘bad boy gang’, the three swear by each other’s friendship and are regularly seen partying at each other’s pads. Karan says, “We met on the sets, but now, we are like brothers. It was Aly who played cupid and got me married to Ankita.” Aly adds, “We bond over everything — from gymming to food to just hanging out at Sangram's apartment.”
Barun Sobti and Akshay Dogra

Akshay and Barun did not like each other when they started doing a show together. Akshay admits, “Initially, I didn’t think we’d get along at all. He had this habit of mumbling and I thought I would never want to be around this guy. But, after a long time, I realised we were both crazy, loved to kid around, had similar interests in food, single malts, travel and loved to disagree on many things.”
