Hyrule Warriors developer Koei Tecmo has announced that two characters from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds are on their way to the Wii U and 3DS versions of the hack-and-slash action game.

Shopkeeper Ravio and antagonist Yuga are the final DLC characters for the Zelda spinoff. While Ravio would rent items to Link in the 3DS adventure, he uses several of them in Hyrule Warriors during battle, including the Hammer, Ice Rod, Boomerang, and Bombs. Yuga, on the other hand, uses his magic wand to take out enemies.

In addition to the two characters, the DLC also comes with a new map for the game's Adventure mode. The map is based on Hyrule's dark world counterpart, Lorule, from A Link Between Worlds and comes with additional hearts and high-ranked weapons for Ravio and Yuga, among other things. Additionally, there's a set of 17 new costumes and 15 new Fairy Wear outfits. You can see everything in the gallery above.

The Link Between Worlds DLC is expected to release on October 31 on both Wii U and 3DS. Some of the DLC characters released in the past include Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, Toon Link from the DS games, and an official female version of Link.

Hyrule Warriors received a score of 8 in GameSpot's review. Critic Miguel Concepcion said, "Hyrule Warriors adds little innovation to Koei’s megaseries as a whole, but nevertheless brings an undeniable spark ignited by the crossover cast itself. As one of the more well-produced Warriors games in recent memory, it is easy to see Hyrule Warriors paving the way for more Warriors spin-offs."
