Not Salman Khan but Ranbir Kapoor is the real WEDDING SINGER - here's proof!

Here are five songs of Ranbir Kapoor that prove that he's the wedding singer of Bollywood and not Salman Khan.

Here's a competition that Salman Khan won't win! Okay, now before the Bhai fans go all angry on me, hear me out. In fact, this is something no actor will be able to beat because it's Ranbir Kapoor, who does it the best. I'm talking about singing at weddings! So Ae Dil Hai Mushkil's new track Cutiepie just released sometime ago. If you haven't heard it yet, you can simply check it out here. Anyway, so as I was saying, in the song, we see Mr Kapoor making the most out of Anushka Sharma's wedding as the singer. He's her really good friend and as a friend he's divulging his emotions through his song that is sung by Pardeep Singh Sran & Nakash Aziz. Firstly, the track is extremely filmy and funny. You see a sad Rk Jr, who simply cannot stop his tears from rolling down his cheeks. You see some quippy antiques he and Anushka indulge in. We remember very well of Salman Khan's performance in the song Oh Priya which gave him the tagline that he's the best wedding singer. In the film Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye, we saw a very emotional yet smiling Salman sing away for Rani Mukerji as she got betrothed to someone else. It's aching to see someone you like go away with someone else but having to perform at that person's wedding, ouch! But the charming young Khan did it with so much conviction, he instantly got the tag hooked to him. That's not the only film, even in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he danced at the wedding of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan as he reunited them. Not to forget his recent stint, Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai from Sultan. Of course, it ain't his wedding but he gate crashes someone else's so he can flirt with his bae Anushka. But guess what, here's Ranbir, taking it away from him with Ae Dil Hai Mushkil! Ranbir is literally owning this territory and slowly taking away the tagline from Salman. One thing that I've noticed is the style in which he takes away all the limelight at every wedding he has performed onscreen. In Ae Dil itself he has two wedding songs where he totally takes away your breath. Being such a hottie and dancing like there's no tomorrow, Rk Jr has become our favourite! To add to all this wedding fun, his singing sequences always look so real that you'll easily be convinced that it's him, who has sung the track and no one else. I'd like to point out that this isn't the first time the actor has exhibited his singing skills on a wedding platform. I can list out movies and songs from his past where he has shown off that he's the perfect wedding singer and you'd be in for a treat of you ever manage to get him for your wedding! Cutiepie from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
This song has all the elements of drama that you seek for at a wedding. Singing, dancing, hot guy, well dressed, crying and so on... Throughout Kapoor looks oh so cute and nails each and every frame with his crazy antiques and impeccable panache! Sorry Anushka but he totally stole your thunder!

Dilli Wali Girlfriend from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani
It has him changing the whole feel of the sangeet ceremony simply with his nonsensical expressions and wacky dance steps! Of course, wooing Deepika Padukone is one of them as well. Basically its a competition between the girl's side and guy's side. Simply to make DP happy and of course unleash the crazy in him, Ranbir quite literally burns the dance floor!

Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
With some madness comes a little sadness. For its a wedding, people are bound to get emotional and teary. This track, which I believe to be a tearjerker, once again makes our hearts ache, courtesy Ranbir Kapoor's performance. His attempts at trying to look all happy and failing miserably as his misty eyes betray him instantly makes you want to offer him a tissue and some hug!

Jogi Mahi Heer Ranjhana from Bachna Ae Haseeno
With a hope of apology, he tries the Shah Rukh Khan's DDLJ trick to make it to the wedding. There's a lot of Punjabi feel to the wedding. Kunal Kapoor and Minnisha Lamba are also present for it's Minnisha, he owes an apology to. After a paragraph and a chorus passes, she is convinced that he has come for an apology. It all ends happily as expected.

Lut Gaye from Besharam
Oh and even in Besharam (yes, that movie *cold stares at Ranbir*), there's a wedding song sequence where Mr Kapoor is being his usual wedding-y self, dancing away in ecstasy, singing like a pro. To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of this track, neither am I of his performance in it but this is again, a song added to his list of wedding songs!
