HANOI, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) ---- Total revenue of top 50 Vietnamese information technology (IT) firms reached nearly 28 trillion Vietnamese dong (1.25 billion U.S. dollars) in 2015, said Vietnam Software and IT services Association (VINASA) on Monday.
The figure was released at the launch of VINASA's special publication on Vietnam's 50 leading IT companies in 2016 held Monday in capital Hanoi.
Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, VINASA general secretary, said at the launch that top 50 accounted for 35.3 percent of total revenue of Vietnam's software and digital content industry.
These 50 companies created 30,523 jobs, accounting for 19 percent of total personnel in the sector, said Giang.
