One of England's former great hopes now has one of football's most unwanted records

Jack Rodwell isn't the first player to see his career stagnate after making a move to a big club, but few young stars have stalled to the same extent after previously showing so much promise.
Rodwell enjoyed a breakout season in 2008/09 at just 17, impressing in the centre of the Everton midfield to earn himself a five-year professional contract. The England underage international continued to star at Goodison Park before earning the first of three senior caps in 2011.
Like so many young players, he was tempted away from the club where he spent his formative years, joining Man City on a five-year contract in 2012.
Many wondered at the time whether Rodwell would get much game time at the Ethiad, and it turned out that he didn't, playing only 16 league fixtures in two seasons before joining Sunderland in 2014, a considerable step down from where he had been two years previously.
Rodwell is now into his third campaign with the Black Cats but their awful start to the season under David Moyes has extended the former England hope's unwanted winless record.
Amazingly, Rodwell has yet to win a Premier League game for Sunderland that he has started, a run that - according to the BBC - takes in 32 matches and a whopping 1,241 days.
Sunderland fans will be praying that Rodwell and his team-mates can quickly arrest their winless start to the season before survival becomes impossible.
