RAJOURI, Oct 23: A team of Transport authorities led by ARTO Rajouri, Jugal Sharma challaned about 50 vehicles and seized two of them for violation of Motor Vehicle Act and imposed heavy fine on the operators.
The ARTO assisted by Inspector Rajiv Bhasin on the directions of the higher authorities laid nakas at different locations in and around Rajouri today and challaned many vehicles for over loading, expiry of documents and other violations of MVD Act. The team imposed and recovered a fine of Rs 1,85,000 from the violators. Two transport vehicles were also seized during the operation.
