Highway 11 south was closed for several hours Sunday morning after a crash near Gravenhurst left a man in serious condition.

Bracebridge OPP say a pick-up truck was travelling south on highway 11 just before midnight on Saturday when it veered off the road and rolled, ejecting the male driver.

Both people in the truck were sent to hospital. The 48 year-old driver was airlifted to a Toronto hospital in serious condition.

The highway was closed through the Severn bridge area until 9 a.m. on Sunday while the OPP’s traffic collision unit investigated.
