GURGAON: Thieves struck at a head constable's house in
Police Lines on Thursday and made off with jewellery and Rs 65,000 cash.
According to the police, the theft took place when head constable
Gyan Raaj, posted at Police Lines, was on duty and his wife had gone to visit a neighbour. The thieves allegedly got inside the house through the back door of the house. When Gyan's wife returned, she found the front door ajar and noticed that the jewellery and cash were missing.

FIR under Section 454 (house trespass) and 380 (theft) of the IPC was lodged at Civil Lines police station.
