Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, convened a high level officers meeting here today to review the stock and supply position ofKupwara, besides Gurez and Tulail areas of Bandipora districts.While reviewing the supply position, the Div Com was informed that supply position in Kupwara district is satisfactory. He directed the concerned Officers of Bandipora, Gurez, Karnah and Tulail to complete the supply of essential commodities in their areas within 7 days. He stressed that if necessary more men and machinery should be involved in the process.It was given out that against approved 82183 quintals of rice, 19197 quintal rice and 5086 quintals of atta have been dispatched till date. Besides 1384 quintals of sugar, 6300 LPG cylinders and 128000 litres of k-oil have also been dispatched to these areas.Deputy Commissioner Kupwara participated in the meeting through video conferencing, while as among others Managing Director JK SRTC, Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department, Area Manager FCI were present in the meeting.
