Mining scam accused Gayatri Prajapati helped Rahul in Lok Sabha poll: Smriti Irani

AMETHI: Union Minister for Textile Smriti Irani took from where Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at both RGPTI and LPG connection distribution at Gauriganj and made serious allegation of controversial minister in Akhilesh cabinet Gayatri Prajapati of helping Congress Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha election.
Presenting it as an obvious fact known to the people of the Amethi vidhan sabha constituency, Smriti even asked people from the said vidhan sabha whose support Rahul took in Lok Sabha election? Gayatri Prajapati, in chorus came the reply.Irani, however, didn't elaborate on what sort of help did Gayatri provide to Rahul but said that despite Gayatri prajapati involved in mining scam in the state, come what may Rahul would not speak a word against the Amethi MLA from Samajwadi Party.
Later, a few BJP workers from Amethi assembly constituency claimed that Prajapati helped in transferring his votes in favour of Congress MP. However, now Rahul, who was riding the bi-cycle is trying to puncture the same cycle, Irani said. Irani also attacked Rahul for not coming to attend the programme of LPG connection distribution to the people of his Lok Sabha constituency and said that while the two ministers who work 24 hours for the people and visit various parts of the country, have come to Amethi but the local MP doesn't have time to attend the programme.
She once again raked up the Samrat Cycle issue and demanded that Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust that has "grabbed" the land should return the land to farmers. Further sharpening her attack on Rahul Gandhi, Irani said at Munshiganj, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation took lands from the farmers 30 years back in the name of hospital for the poor.
However, the hospital has not come for the poor but the land was given to a private hospital by the Foundation. Referring to Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's invitation to Rahul Gandhi at RGPTI to unveil the statue of Swami Vivekanand, Irani gesturing towards Pradhan said that there was challenge that wherever the Congress scion goes, he is accompanied by a photographer as he eats food at a poor man's home and gets himself clicked. Since Pradhan is a BJPian he is not in habit of eating food at poor's house but believes in giving food to the poor, Irani said.
Earlier, the Textile Minister also attacked Gandhi scion because of whom school going girls were sent behind bars as they had tried to stop "Yuvraj's" way with their demand for a proper education.
