Hillary Clinton's campaign office in New York City was cleared after the discovery of a white substance lead to an evacuation Friday.

Federal and local officials determined the white powder sent though the mail was non-hazardous, campaign spokesman Glen Caplin told The Associated Press on Saturday. Four people were examined by medical personnel with no illnesses or injuries being reported.

The substance was discovered in an envelope Friday addressed to the Clinton campaign, New York Police Lt. Thomas Antonetti said. It was first opened around 5:30 p.m. in Clinton's Manhattan office before being brought to the 11th floor of the Brooklyn office at Pierrepont Plaza.

Clinton was not in the office. She held a rally in Cleveland, where she again blasted Trump for not pledging at the final presidential debate Wednesday to accept the election results.

The discovery of the power comes a week after the GOP headquarters in Orange County, N.C., suffered major damage when an explosive device was thrown through a window. The words “Nazi Republicans leave town or else” were spray-painted on a nearby building.
