The 71st season of NBA is about to unfold three days from now. Many are thrilled to know how teams with new players in their roster will perform this year. The expectation is high to those who got the biggest acquisition this offseason like the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks among others.

But up until now, NBA trade rumors are still making its way to the headlines. It still signifies that some teams are still trying to catch up with others teams who make a big upgrade to their lineup. And one of those team who is still searching in the trade market is the Miami Heat.

According to Basketball Insiders, there are a brewing talks between the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings for a possible trade deal before the season begin. Trade scenario is suggesting that Kings will send Rudy Gay and Darren Collison to the Heat in exchange for guard Goran Dragic.

The report also says that the trade deal will benefit both teams as it will fill in the spot they both needed. The addition of Dragic to the Kings will help fill in the point guard spot left by Rajon Rondo this offseason when he decides to join the Chicago Bulls. And with Collison and Ty Lawson going to some trouble, they badly need the 30-year old Slovenian to stabilize their backcourt.

As for the Heat, Gay can immediately fill in the production that Chris Bosh left as per stated in the report. It is most likely that Bosh career is over following a health condition that sidelined him last season and Gay would be a perfect replacement for Chris Bosh.

If ever the deal pushes through, trading Dragic will unload his $17 million to the Heat's payroll next season and when you add up Bosh $25.3 million salary, the Heat could clear about $42.3 million in cap space allowing them to sign big time players that will be free agents this offseason.

On the separate report by Christian Post, Rudy Gay have already expressed his intention to leave the Kings next summer. But the Kings might not wait for the offseason to trade Gay instead of leaving him walk away thru free agency and get nothing in return.

Aside from Gay-Dragic trade deal, the report also tackles the Boston Celtics intention to add Blake Griffin to their roster. Though it may not happen this season, the Celtics will chase Griffin in the 2017 free agency where he expected to opt out with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Will the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings both agree to move Gay and Dragic? Will the Boston Celtics snatch Blake Griffin next summer from LA Clippers?
