Talking about who all will be a part of the sequel, Basu confirmed the presence of Irrfan Khan in the movie. However, the fans of the film may have to miss out on seeing Kangana Ranaut, who played a pivotal role in the first part.

The film had got delayed after the alleged break-up of Ranbir and Katrina, which made it difficult for the makers to get the two together on the sets, as they refused to work together. However, the two former lovers kept their personal issues aside and completed the film’s shooting. Jagga Jasoos is now scheduled to release in 2017.
