As everyone is desperately waiting for the first look, Rana Daggubati gets in touch with Bollywoodlife.com to reveal what he and his team members are feeling about the upcoming film. He reveals that his team is equally excited about the film and feel proud to be associated with such a huge project. In his statement Rana said that, “All of us plunged into this film (Baahubali – Part 1 ) with a leap of faith. It was a very expensive film and a very big film. When we were making it, it was a new regional film in Telugu. And we were far over in terms of budgets and the way it was going to be executed and none of us knew what the results were going to be like. But with faith, we all plunged in and decided to do the best we could. And we were extremely happy with the kind of result it brought out. We were happy that we could enjoy the success of a brand like this.” (ALSO READ- Bahubali box office report: S.S Rajamouli’s directorial venture crosses Rs 250 crore mark)

They were not clear about how Bahubali would be received by the audience. But after the film’s success they are confident to spend more on the part 2 as well. He adds, “So when we were filming for part 2, obviously things got much simpler, because now Baahubali is a brand. So we could spend more since we would want Part 2 to look bigger than part 1, and we can do all of that with convenience and ease, without the burden that was there in Part 1. Like the kind of technicians we got for part 2, in terms of shooting the war, were international people who have worked on war films before. See in the first part, we were still figuring out, none of us had shot a war film before, so we were still discovering things, but now we have solid trained experts in that sense.”
